While her father a counter found.

And clerk stressed to fill the beneficiary
So he could live without worry
Hearing this with an idea his daughter was happy.

Her mom used to scold her when she was naughty
Which after doing mischief she used to worry
She asked her father for her too make a policy
So she could avoid punishment and be happy !

Between Generations Bulb On and Off

writing 4kids

Gopal and his friends were restless with whatever they had
While going to college their parents advice they used to evade
As their mind changed at the drop of the hat
Now Gopal was asking his mother to tell Dad to buy a new bike.

Gopal’s father’s generation was “too old to rock and roll and too young to die”
Who were proud of their possession like switching forever ‘ON’ the tube light
So he was angry Gopal sold his old bike without reason
As switching ‘ OFF’ things at flick of a thought.

Gopal’s world is not fully born
And his father’s world is not quite dead
So Gopal’s father brought a new bike
With his son on the way to college dropping him to his office.

The Unknown Ranking System

5 years old Gopal loved to paint
But to be good in studies was the wish of his parents
As they thought if high marks he scores
His success will be known at distant shores.

Gopal's teacher sent his art work to an international competition
While in school as the lessons Gopal never used to listen
His grades in report card had fallen
And his parents hid the card crestfallen.

In school’s the annual day function
When other parents were delighted after marks of their children was mentioned
To Gopal’s parents surprise , his art was given special attention,
As it had won first place abroad and had caused sensation.

Operation for combating 8-Legged terrorist

Gopal’s mother was scared of spider
Which while having break-fast on top of table appeared
She begged her son something to do
And in Gopal’s mind operation for its execution came to view.

‘No Entry Zone’ was placed in the dinning room
And Gopal armed himself with soap solution and broom
Got hold of short hose and plunged into its one end to nozzle of the funnel
To deliver the strong soap solution on ‘ terrorist’ to kill.

Gopal making sure the hose was placed accurately near the creature
Poured the deadly concoction into the funnel after saying a small prayer,
Emptying the mug Gopal with drew the hose
To his mother’s glee spider lying on its back and moving panicky its eight hairy legs.

How the Act protects!

During Gopal’s first year in collage
To save his money a battle against his seniors he had to wage
They used to force him for free treats
And he had to struggle to make ends meet.

One day in hostel while reading newspaper in sunshine
Gopal’s eye caught BT Regulatory Bill of 2009
Which stated those who opposed GM food would be behind bars
So he had decided his seniors to invite to breakfast.

Gopal ordered as dessert for his seniors Bt Brinjal ice-cream
With hot pepper sprinkled behind their back
They were forced to eat without complaint
And not anymore troubling Gopal for future free treats!

Mystery Uncovered

Gopal was a wise school teacher
For primary children he used to give lecture
Most of the kids in school were naughty
But he controlled them efficiently.

There was a tree with ripe Mangoes in school campus
To which one day he saw children throwing stones
While Gopal was watching from a distance
Through the window in his office.

Gopal through attainder called the group
Who denied they had to do anything about
When he charged his attainder saw four of them
One yelled, “He’s lying, there were only three of us!.”

My friend indeed!

Cigarette is my friend in need
Unlike a fair-weather friend
Cigarette offers solace in times of turmoil
By burning all problems and vanishing them to thick air.

Smoking is one’s carefully cultivated ‘air’
Like in World War II Winston Churchill’s ‘V’ sign and cigar
Which is the trademark he is associated
Hence Cigarette is a friend beyond compare.

My trusted friend had literally burnt
himself with every deep inhalation
Taking all my turmoil and pain
And he had clung to me without quitting
So who in the world could beat him!
Like an ability or a muscle, hearing your inner wisdom is strengthened by doing it. -Robbie Gass

How India could become a knowledge Superpower

EX-PEZ APJ Abdual Kalam said India can become a knowledge superpower. For it we need to take a look at the advantage of learning online.

In Internet cafĂ©’s, the learner-centered web-based environment is available. Here nothing could be thought but everything could be learnt. So it is more attractive than traditional classrooms where class teachers are some time moody while computer is not.

As authentic material is available in the web and you get the opportunity to interact with those people who are proficient in the field of your interest anywhere around the world helping you to acquire knowledge and improve your skills.

Hey Ram!, What Bapu's principle has come to....

Mahatma Gandhi’s principle of non-violence is “means are more important than end” through which he brought freedom which everyone could proudly preserve for generations, but now with ‘use and throw’ culture, that is “end is more important than means” its experience won’t last even for a life time.

Indian-led group finds way to measure neutron stars

MUMBAI: After Chandrayaan-1's discovery of water molecules on the Moon comes another astronomy breakthrough for India. An international group lead by Sudip Bhattacharyya, a 36-year-old space scientist at Mumbai's Tata Institute of Fundamental research, has discovered a way to measure the size of neutron stars. Before we go any further, what is a neutron star? Speaking to TOI on Monday, Bhattacharyya explained: "To put it simply, it is the final stage of a very massive star. When the massive star burns up its fuel, it collapses to become a neutron star," he said, adding that there are between 100 million and 1,000 million neutron stars in the galaxy. On average, a neutron star is very small — approximately 10km in diameter — and 10,000 light years from Earth, thus making it extremely difficult to study and measure. Bhattacharyya and his team's research revealed the unsuspected property of X-ray bursts given off by the stars, which led to the discovery that the pattern of X-rays generated might reveal their true size. "Since these X-rays cannot reach the Earth because of a blanket created by the atmosphere, data was collected of more than 900 bursts from 43 neutron stars through a Nasa satellite and transmitted to us," Bhattacharyya said. The scientist and his colleagues — Coleman Miller of the University of Maryland and Galloway Monash of the University of Australia — modelled how the temperature of the bursts changed as they faded and found it varied in relation to the radius of the star. The team's research has been accepted for publication in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.

And in seconds he had fulfilled his dream.
